 Cabins
- Our cabins double occupancy. They are clean and private. The cabins
have comfortable beds with big thick quilts in which to cozy up! Each
cabin has a clean bathroom and a nice warm shower. Enjoy a cocktail
on your private porch or join us at the Lodge.
Some folks don't like camping in the back-country, but still enjoy
the outdoors. No problem! You can stay in a quaint cabin and enjoy
day rides instead. We'll show you our favorite water slides and a
secluded swimming hole. We can take you to see the George Bush Sequoia
Tree at Freeman Grove. If you prefer a breathtaking view to enjoy
during a picnic, we can head on up to Jordan Peak and look out over
the scenic Sierra Nevada. Did we mention the whereabouts of the best
trout fishing almost anywhere! We'll just ask us. When you get back,
enjoy a hot shower and join us over at the Lodge for a home cooked
meal. This way you have the best of both worlds.
Meals - Hearty homestyle meals are offered up at the Lodge.
Join the Day family and crew for a truly unique back-country breakfast,
lunch and dinner. There's something about the mountains that gives
a body a huge appetite. No one's ever sent away hungry, that's for
sure! Sometimes, we have to haul them away in a wheelbarrow!
Night-Before-Trip-Stay - We offer an overnight stay and breakfast
to our guests arriving for pack trips leaving the next morning. We
always want you to get an early start on your journey. Staying at
the Lodge the night before makes things so much easier.
Corrals - Bring you own horse with you to the mountains and
enjoy an unforgetable vacation together. Our metal panel corrals will
safely board your stock.
Private Parties - If you want to make a special occasion truly
unique, just sit down with Steve or Rinda and plan a spectacular event!
Rent the Lodge and entire grounds for your get together. We've hosted
company meetings, parties, seminars, family reunions, weddings, honeymoons,
birthday parties and several other events. Naturally, reservations
and prior arrangements are necessary. |
